The Weekly Spotlight
In the weekly spotlight, we showcase the best looking project we can find and look at it from all angles!  Here's this weeks spotlight.

This week, the spotlight shines brightly on another CTR, by the Intamin Super Pack Team!
SKYRUSH, The CTR and Custom Track!

I am simply lost for words every time I look at this train, just do to the fact that so much detail is used.  I know a lot of you will look at this as a train that will crash games due to its poly count, but we don't know its poly numbers, or at least I have not seen them, and frankly I could care less about that number because that number will be worth it in the end!  From the seats to the wheels, this train was perfectly designed and it will most certainly take the title of #1 CTR in RCT3!

The train is now in-game along with its beautiful custom track, which the train is sitting on in the above picture.  You will notice the high level of detail on the nose, the wheels, the seats and restraints.  Not only that, there are seatbelts too, something you don't see too often in this game!

Here is the full train view along with the new Intamin CT which is still being made.  Now before we get tons of questions about a release date, It has no date announced.  The Train will release when the custom track does, so we will have to be patient and wait for it!  But in the meantime, feel free to check out the thread over at shyguys world and drool all over your keyboard some more!  Article By: Jssobczak

Sobczak Coasters Inc. Presents:

Cedar Island: A thrilling Mini Park, inspired by a simple ride request by TheDarkStar!  Take a look at a requested flyer that turned into a full on park!

Yes, that B&M Flyer pictured above inspired the pathways below it leading to the addition of other rides, and eventually opened to a large crowd!
The park has already expanded for its second season, and has plans for a smaller expansion for its third season!

Back from the past!

This week, we bring three older projects back for further review, and a quick article or two!
Spices Dive Coaster is yet another great CTR added to the game in 2010, And its excellent sleek look is just eye candy!  Yes, its not the 10 Seater like Griffon, but who cares!  A train like this is a must have!  At this time, i'm not aware of any download links for this, but when I find one, ill post the link!  Here's another picture!

The second project being bumped from the past this week is Rush, a Screamin Swing by Chico and Archbak
A simple way to put it, revolutionary!  This ride was one of the most awaited additions to the game, and 2010 gave us yet another wish!  This ride is released for download widely so go get it and expand your favorite park, and embrace the high level of detail this ride has to offer!

And Finally, we have Maylene's Classic Corkscrew!
This CTR is widely released and can be downloaded!  It is an excellent makeover from the in-game corkscrew, and is required for any coaster of this type!  The detail is simply excellent!

Theme Park Studio - New Simulation Game

Target Release Date: Summer 2013

I am just informing you of some newly released features to the game!  Coming up on February 24th 2013, we will get to see a new video on the construction, and animation of flats, which means yes, we build the flat rides piece by piece, then add physics and details, and then animate them!!  This game sounds excellent and very time consuming, so I cant wait to get my copy of it!  Keep an eye out for their future releases!

Hall of Fame Induction #2

ELCH - Three Mountains Park!

This park is simply excellent!  The Theming  the Idea, and the creator being one of the best park designers out there!  This park is still receiving updates, and has made it to its 40th Anniversary!  The park started out as a simple resort and a couple of rides, now 40 updates later, its a regional hotspot and has been for years!  Check the thread out at SGW, and start from the beginning for the full effect!

This has been RCT3 Weekly by Jssobczak!  Thank you for reading and see you again at the next issue!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Weekly Spotlight

Almpatze by JRCH simply is an amazing display of talent, featuring a well thought out B&M Invert layout, pulling out all the features known from B&M!  Themed as an Alpine Mountain Coaster, Almpatze travels a decent length of track through a well themed, beautiful setting giving you the feeling that you are truly visiting a real ride!  There is no doubt that JRCH is well on his way to the RCT3 Hall of Fame, and he has our attention as we wait for his next new ride!

A Work in Progress!

Imagineerben and TheDarkStar - Swarm CT
Here we go with yet another great custom track, and this one will be themed to the max.  We have two great creators in the community working together to formulate this attraction for your parks!  Based on what we see, the track is extremely smooth and looks dead on from the real deal!  This epic CT is one worth waiting for, and we can't wait for more!  Follow their thread at the Realtycoon3.com forums for further updates, and enjoy the great teaser below!

The RCT3 Flashback!

In this weeks flashback, we feature DarkHorizons 2nd Generation B&M Hyper Trains!  This CTR was on my watch list from the day it was announced and simply turned out amazing.  The train features true B&M Textures and stadium style seating so every peep can have an unobstructed view through the course of the ride!  The train features a splash down effect, so when it hits the water, well... you will have to download it and find out!  This is an epic creation, and upon release, was a revolution in CTRS.

New from Sobczak Coasters Inc.

After nearly a week of work, we finally have two new coasters to showcase, which means yes, we are actively taking requests to design rides of the same style for your parks!  We are glad to do customized layouts, and bring your peeps a great new thrill ride!

B&M Wing Coaster - Sobczak Coasters Inc.
Our Wing Coaster design is consistent with the new Gatekeeper at Cedar Point!  We have utilized the same idea, with some minor changes!  We are willing to design custom Wing Coasters for your parks now!  All our Wing Coasters feature the same lift and drop as pictured, one keyhole or more, and Parallax's Wing Coaster CTR!

B&M Dive Coaster - Sobczak Coasters Inc.
Our Dive Coaster design is a pretty basic, but custom layout which is compact and fits in any park in need of a coaster to fill small areas!  We are willing to create custom Dive Coaster Layouts for your park now!  All our Dive Coasters feature what you see above, with full scenery and 4th Generation Dive Trains (Nightfire CTR).

THE RCT3 - Hall of Fame Induction!

This week, we will induct the first ever project to the new Sobczak Coasters Inc. Hall of Fame!  This project was open quite some time ago, however did unfortunately come to a close after a great run!

The Hall of Fame welcomes:
Six Flags South Carolina: A park by CD5

For over two years, we enjoyed such a fantastic park, and got to watch it from the day the land was purchased.  So lets start our review from the beginning!

The park began in 1973 as 200 acres of land was purchased. In 1974, most of the park had been completed and rides were being installed.  And in 1975, The park held its grand opening as Charleston Gardens!

The park closed in 1989 after Hurricane Hugo struck, destroying many areas of the park, thus abandoning the park.  In 1992, the city bought the grounds and began cleaning out the destruction in the hopes that a new owner would arise!  November 1, 1992, Six Flags announced its purchase of the park and set its opening for 1994, also announcing Batman The Ride, and new B&M as part of a $30 Million Investment in the park.

The Park opened its gates as scheduled in 1994 to record setting crowds!  In 1998, the park opened Undertaker, the worlds first floorless coaster which drastically changed the parks skyline!  In 1999, the park opened Rebellion, a 260ft Intamin Drop Tower, which attracted visitors from all across the area.

In 2000, The park debuted its tallest coaster, Superman: Ride of Steel, a 210ft Intamin Hyper Coaster, which easily made the top 10 list worldwide!  By 2005, the park installed an Inverted Impulse Coaster, and a new B&M Flying coaster to the mix

All good things must come to an end however.  We no longer receive updates on this great park, however the park continues to operate today and has opened Hurricane Harbor, its Waterpark, Sky Screamer, a 200ft Swing Ride, and will possibly be adding a new coaster in 2015!

Thats that for this weeks induction, so to end another fantastic issue of RCT3 Weekly, I leave you with this video of Six Flags South Carolina!  Congratulations to CD5 and SFSC, you are now in the Hall of Fame!
